When are the meetings?

• Board meeting notices are posted to this page. 

• Meetings follow a set schedule, but dates can change and sometimes the Board has special meetings that aren't on the schedule. They generally provide a public notice on the District website a few days ahead of any special meetings.  

• They also post to their Twitter and Facebook pages. 

How do I watch the meetings? 

• Meetings are live-streamed on the district website and on their Facebook page The School District of Jersey City. 

• You can also attend in person. 

• Meetings tend to run between 4 and 5 hours.

Can I speak at a meeting? 

• Yes. You have to register to speak at this link by 3:00 pm the day of the meeting. 

• You must attend the meeting in person in order to speak.

• Public comments must pertain to an agenda item. 

• The time limit for comments is 3 minutes per person. 

How do I follow along during the meetings?

• Meeting agendas are posted to Board Docs before the meetings along with document attachments. 

• Documents are often not posted until the day prior to the meeting.
